OK I'm here, every one can relax.    Really glad i stumbled on the awesome forum.  I look forward to the next few months while I'm pondering Japanese engineering. First question:

Is there a paint code that is generally accepted as a correct color to match the 73 red?

Welcome. Sadly, there are no paint codes for these bikes. However, http://www.vintagehondapaint.com/ is a great source for stock paint colors. Several members, including myself, have used his paints. Always gets a thumbs up.
