Um,,,,,  I don't even know what to say about that front end except.  Is it done?

G model indicated a front disc brake. Nice cafe style, but the fat tires and springer front end scare me.

Ditto. It looks like a '40s bobber met a '70s cafe racer.

I'm not exactly sure what the 'G' indicates. maybe trying to sell the 350 twin as an improved 'F'? Other Honda twins got a disc around the same time and stayed K-whatever. Other changes from CB350K4 to CB350G include the addition of a grab rail and replacing edge-lit gauges containing idiot lights with backlit gauges and separate light pod.

I'd like rear brakes too, please.

Yeah, an interesting choice for the front end.  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that, but the springer, wide front wheel and that huge drilled disk don't do anything for me.

I see he chose the tank from a CB200, too.  I AM kinda partial to it's slab-sided looks and that rubber mohawk!  Again, beauty in the eye...

And why, oh why, when he goes to obviously a lot of trouble, does he just throw header wrap on rusty ol' hacked pipes?  That's ONE style I can do without - burlap headers.

 :)

Don't quote me, but I thought the first mid-capacity range 'G' bikes were the CB250 and 360 G5's.

I'm prepared to be called a fibber, however.

The final-year CB350 streetbike was designated CB350G.  Dunno why, rather than continuing the K3, K4, K5 naming...  And that final year (1973) was the only year the 350 came with a front disk brake.

I agree with the rusty pipe comment. The least he could have done is change the the flanges or clean the hell out of the rust. There was enough work done to this bike that engine should have been stripped and painted but that was neglected as well. Auction actually mentions it.

I actually like the fat tires but the "whatever that is" going around the front tire looks like crap.

Is that the original chain? Can't tell but it looks like rust on the side. Might be normal.

The handlebars leave a lot to be desired. If it is anything like my 350F the master-cylinder will leak at that angle.

The tank has a sticker. Not that a sticker is a bad thing but it should have been applied before the last coat. Auction mentions new paint.

Wish I had one of my bikes at the same show. My 78K would have won something too. It doesn't run. The carbs are off. Tank needs a cleaning and engine has some "spots" that need paint. I would at least get an honorable mention.
