76 550k float level height

what should the float level height be on this ?? and how and where do you measure from?

22mm from the float bowl base on the carb body, to the float bottom while the float has just pushed the float valve to its seated position.

Don't you have a shop manual yet?

So you measure from the bottom of the base (where it comes apart) to the top of the float?

This is from page 60.
You actually measure to the bottom of the float from the base of the carb where the bowl fits.
Last year I joined a support group for procrastinators.
We haven't met yet.

Also download the carb manual as well. It explains a lot of how these carbs work.
