Q and A
« on: December 17, 2008, 07:16:23 PM »
So, on another forum, I found a thread that went on with a question and an answer.  If you answer the question, you get to ask one.

A: ----

Q: If you play a blank CD at max volume all night, does the mime next door get p!ssed?

I figured I would have to get it right first, guess i don't get it.  So, here is a question.

When John was six years old he hammered a nail into his favorite tree to mark his height. Ten years later at age sixteen, John returned to see how much higher the nail was. If the tree grew by five centimeters each year, how much higher would the nail be?

((Nope, answers are whatever's off the top of your head.))

I'd wonder why he's nailing a tree.

If you try to clap with one hand, does your palm get a weird drip?

Yes, and it's curable with Zen-acillin.

How is it that you can feed a dog nothing but dog food but when he farts it always smells like he had beer and eggs for breakfast?

Theoretically same height, tree grows from its extremities. Practically , the action of the growth of the roots will push it up some.   :P

You think the dog only ingests dog food, but you have no control over what is served on poker night.  Of course, when my dog  farts  passes gas, it smells like Chanel #5.  Or is it #4   Oh, I remember.  #2.

Because of my professional status as a smart ass, I got plenty of answers.  Uuhh, questions?  Not so much.  But I'll give it a try.

(sigh)  Sorry.  I couldn't come up with a lame mime question.

If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is around, does GreenPeace still protest?

SD, You seem to be missing the point of this thread, or maybe pointless.  Kit, if I may be so bold, it seems that this thread is supposed to be pointless Q & A.  And while I failed miserably at the Q part, I am enjoying it immensely.  And you who bring reality and trivia her are being a buzzkill.

And besides, the picture of someone trying to play a blank CD and wondering why it won't do it is priceless.

Judging by the posts so far, I'd say this is mostly a hijack thread. ;D ;D ;D  Either that or we don't get it. ??? ??? :-\

Triple3, kind of along with the listening to a blank CD...In high school I had some friends go into Best Buy wearing coveralls and in their best hillbilly accents, they started asking the salesman where the dvd rewinders were.  "I need to rewind them dvd's I got from the rental store, else they charge me a fine.  Where you got them dvd rewinders at?  I'm tryin to be kind and rewind but mah dvd playah don't have a rewind button."  Hilarious.

You can cry underwater, but only for a little bit.  Then you just don't feel the pain anymore.

Why do Yankees call overalls "coveralls"?

Because you have to be old to enjoy youth.

Is it farther to Detroit or by bus?
