Anyone know this K3 in St. Louis?
« on: December 18, 2008, 03:25:18 PM »
Looking at this K3 currently on eBay at the St. Louis Car Museum and auto dealer.  Anyone know anything about this bike?  Only saw it by the pics.  Has a buy it now of $3,900.

Didn't that same outfit have a K0 on ebay a few weeks ago?  I think they were asking $8000 for it, and it wasn't sandcast or anything.

the K4 looks OK, but I'm not sure its a $4000 bike.  Just depends on how bad someone wants it.

It doesn't look clean enough to merit $4K -- but something more in line with the current bidding price.

Yes, he did sell a sandcast to a guy in Sweden recently.  He will come a bit lower than the $3900.  Has a pin hole in 1 OEM pipe and I am still waiting for a reply as to what the tape is on exhaust pipe #3.  Appears nice on the pics but was looking for your take on the bike and price.

$2K for a 22,000 mile bike with holes in the exhaust might be a stretch.
