Here's another for you.

My son-in-law is a big fan of The Fall, a British rock band, I use that term loosely, it's essentially one person Mark E Smith and whoever he chooses at the moment to join him. This artist did most of their album cover artwork. Personally the music sounds a lot like white noise to me.

The Fall were a very good punk band during the 70's. They are important in rock history and of course I'm a good fan of them (something else than white noise to me  ;D). Many years ago I lost interest when the band broke up, and now it's not The Fall anymore, you're right saying is Mark E. Smith and others playing.
Anyway I love the music album art covers. I have many books on that particular topic, specially Jazz album covers. During the 40's 50's and 60's brilliant work was made in that area. I had a recording studio and a record company (that was before I went broke!) and the part I liked best of the business was the designing of the album covers.

man! if you have any images at all i'd love to see them!!

i'm not the biggest jazz nut but i feel the best stuff came outta that era. ella, sarah vaughn, coltrane, brubeck.

i kinda remember the fall too although my little sister had the punk thing covered in our clan.

If you don't mind the critique, there are a couple of things that seem to stand out.

The colors are all wrong. The jersey and bike should be red... and you spelled 'Honda' wrong.

No don't have a Bug.--have plenty of pics, though.

Somewhere in the middle ages, I supplemented my income by flocking ceilings,  painting and carpeting apt's in San Diego. One that I remember, was an apt. w/space murals and others pretty much covering the walls.. Many years later. I ran across a coffee table book of the works of Micheal Wheelan. The works were same. tho previous to "star wars" bits. No doubt mike forfieted his damage deposit. G

read about it and see more pix here.

this other was a one-off (forget by whom) built for the anniversary of the honda cub. that's real wood and i call this kinetic art.  ;)

Here is some paint work I did.
A 500/4 painted stock in House of color root beer candy.
No stickers, all paint.
Also a custom tribal flamed HD.
And a '57 panhead in oriental blue marbled candy.
More to come.
