The one thing that stands out in my mind is the statement of my high school art teacher.

"There is no such thing as an artist or a non-artist. You either do art or you don't.
If you have chosen to express yourself in what you do, you are an artist, whether you recognize that fact or not"  Gerry Putman

He was the person that inspired me to spend as much of my life as I can "doing art"
If ever there was a creator of bastard sons, it is the open road, for she has claimed so many young men yearning for freedom......

Thanks Ecosse!  I do have some more stuff, I'll get photos up sometime in the next couple days.  No other lamps, unless you count the one made from a Heineken mini keg.... This whole schoolwork thing is really giving me a lot of free time... That being said, some of the school projects turned out alright.  Here are some photos of an architectural model I did.  The house is for a chef, the concept is looking at the chef and his mastery of the 5 senses.

Thats really it for what i've got on photobucket, but I've got other stuff on my harddrive and if people want to see it I can get it up.

me drawing little random pictures for my son to color in is a pretty regular assurance ... this time , he asked for batman ... except when i got to the face , he stops me  .. then gasps ...  (i swear to god i could see the light bulb over his head)   "DADDY!!   make a skeleton face!!!"     ( i draw skulls alot)

so when it was done , i liked it so much i had to get a shot of it before he colored it in ...   (he's 5 and not that good at it yet)

what would be great is actually polishing a metal sculpture to that kind of mirror-like finish... I wonder how many birds would hit it, though?

A work in progress.  I need to color balance my face a little better, but I think I did a great job on adding Jessica Alba to the photo...  she wasn't really there with Cameron and I at all!:

i'd give it up all together; everyone knows jessica's my woman. she'd never be seen with the likes of you because, as she frequently tells me after of our marathon sessions in the "love chamber", i've ruined her for other men.

now that i think of it that may not be a complement.

That's news to me.  Guess Jessica's batting for my team, now, thanks to Ecosse, but nice try all the same.

there is a significant population of women (i'm not kidding) in a neighboring city, northampton, who "bat for the other team".  call it a gift.  ::)

maybe i should quit when i'm behind?

anyway, back to art. i hope this shows up well.
