Advertisements I like them!

The like the new addition of the smart ads to this forum.

Is my life boring or what!  I think I will shut off my Pop Up Stopper and have a real party!
These wonderful little birds are great flyers, delicious eating, excellent for training your hunting dog, and just fun to shoot,or stuff and keep around the house.  Bobwhites can be put with other types of Quail and have very large penis's.  Quail are very popular with the babes.

Are you saying that you had popup ads on this forum?

If so, you probably have been infected with spyware.  I've never had popups here.

I thnk he means the ads under the search bar. I suppose it is a way of supporting the site. Since they do not pop up OVER things and they do not have the annoying flashing, I dont mind them at al. Unless all of use wanted to donate $5 a month or have a membership fee, we have to do something. Glenn cant host all this for no cost. It would be a crime to let all this knowledge go to waste.

They don't bother me either. I've actually followed the links a few times and found some interesting sites. An added bonus is they help defray costs for Glenn.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

Yeah, I hope that wasn't a complaint.

I donated some bills to the site when it first opened -- if you haven't then shuddup.

Calm down there, Zeke.  I don't see any complaints in the above posts.

If it's unobtrusive and covers some maintenance and server costs, then right on!  ;D

I sent some cash myself, but I no longer see the instructions on how to do that anymore, so maybe the ads pay for it now, that would be nice.  I have checked out 3-4 of the sites.

The ads are generating some income - every click counts.  I avoided putting this kind of thing on the site for the longest time mostly because the usual banner ads are too obtrusive for my tastes.  I still have the donations link on the main part of the site: http://sohc4.us/?q=node/166.
