The ones that hold the seat hinges to the frame, I mean. When I got this F3 750 the PO already had twisted off the studs that the hinge was bolted to. There were only stubs remaining. I drilled out the old studs, tapped the holes and put in helicoils. Now I want to screw studs into the holes and have my neighbor tack weld the studs into place. I want the seat to be held securely.
How much stud do I need to leave showing? Can someone measure their studs for me?
