Has anyone ever put NITROUS on a snow blower?   ::)  Just kidding of course, but man.... tonight the poor little bugger had all it could do getting through the heavy snow we had last night.  Was thinking maybe a shot of nitrous might be cool!  At least for a little while  ;D

Maybe not nitrous, but you can find hi perf parts for a standard Briggs & Stratton motor.

A side note;  I was at a M/C dealer show years ago and saw a chopper powered by a B & S motor.  It was about a 20hp(originally), that had been worked on to boost it to about 35.  Mikuni CV carb, Supertrapp exhaust, lots of chrome...
It was billed as "The Other Milwaukee Legend".
Go metric, every inch of the way!

Last winter my snow blower was always broke...why? because of my%$/%*?!!! tecumseh motor(8hp)

So this year i have install an 8hp honda motor(gx240) and all i can say is WOW!!! what a difference! this motor is more powerfull than my old tecumseh and i don't have to run it full throttle,it start on the first try, run smoothly and quietly. Now i have a big smile on my face when i see the snow in my driveway ::)

Believe me you don't need nitrous, just a good motor ;)

This year I got a old Ford ST-830 snowblower with a pooched 8 horse tecumseh engine on it. Threw away the tecumseh and put on a 6.5 Honda  :) The Honda is vibration free and despite being short 1.5 horse on the old motor, it blows like crazy.

We got a dump last night of about a foot where I live. Glad I had it  :D

you guys are talking about nothing but 4-strokes.  Mine's a 2-stroke 5hp Tecumseh, and it runs great......just bogs down when confronted with the heavy stuff.  I'm hinking maybe an expansion chamber.....?
