I'm sure many of you have never heard of this site,
www.NoradSanta.org, that tracks Santa on his journey around the world each year since 1955. You really need to turn your kids on to this!! This was started by accident in 1955 when the local Sears Roebuck department store placed an ad in the local newspaper asking if the kids wanted to talk to Santa. Only problem was the phone number was one digit off and the calls ended up going to the NORAD complex in Cheyenne Mountain right here in Colorado Springs. Rather than telling the kids they had the wrong number they started telling the kids they would check the radar. Last year the website had 10.6 MILLION visitors from 212 countries and territories. The site is translated by Google into 7 languages. Last year there were 1,012 volunteers answering 94,743 phone calls and 10,325 emails out of 140,000 total. Santa begins his around the world journey in less than 4 hours from the North Pole at 4:00AM MST. He will be tracked by radar all around the world. Have your kids get online and check it out BUT THEY MUST BE IN BED AND ASLEEP BEFORE SANTA REACHES YOUR AREA OR THEY WILL NOT GET ANY PRESENTS.
Enjoy and Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
