No worries, buddy.  The main thing to pay attention to, aside from length, is the spring mounting hook.  As you can see the long one (which may actually be a DOHC 750 stand now that I think of it) has the hook on the underside while the shorter ones have the hook on the top of the stand. 

Let us know how you end up doing it, this sort of info helps everyone.  :)

As obvious as it is that the hook is on the back of that one, I totally missed it.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

It can still be made to work if you're creative with the spring arrangement.
