Hi guys
One for all our parts guru`s....
Will a top end gasket kit for a K6 suit an F or F1?
Yes i have done a search but the best i could find was terryinaus (i think)saying that the K and F engines were very similar.

I'm wanting to know this as well, the cycle X kit looks nice but it doesnt say what model it fits. I'm guessing thats because they fit pretty much all of them. I would like to get a clear answer on this as well.

Hi ... I have a Honda gasket book that covers every gasket made for the early Hondas and have worked out the following:
cyl gasket, valve stem seal, head gasket, breather, head cover, tensioner holder, 3 of the sets of O rings are all the same in both kits.
The k has an O ring of 11mm not used in the F model.
The F has 6 rubber seal rings, 8 special knock pin, 4 exhaust pipe gaskets that the K series doers not have.
K series part number is 06110-341-000 and the F 06110-392-000
Hope this helps. I sought of only know a bit about the 350F but this book has all the kit parts numbers and individual gasket part numbers.

Thanks for that phil, might grab this one as i have a 750f motor screaming to be put together, i have the remnants from a full gasket set which has a few of the cover gaskets missing

Deltarider, I know it would be a valuable asset for all. There are 240 pages in total though. Great Honda factory book. It gives the part number for every single gasket, o-ring, whatever that was used in the earlier models. Only cost me $1 in a book sale and in perfect condition. If I see someone ask a question re gaskets I will try and answer for them. But at some stage, if I find a window, I might look at scanning the relevant pages and either list for you or put onto CD. Lets face it, most of the riders here are mainly interested in the SOHC of the '70s and that should not take too much.
