CB750K Master Cylinder Refinish

The original black finish on my 750K4 master cylinder has faded out to a grey silver-ish patina and I want to restore it. It appears originally to have a black anodized finish, but I'm not sure. Is anodizing the correct Honda finish?

If so, does anyone have a recommended source for re-anodizing Honda master cylinders?

Yes I beleive anodizing is correct but don't know who does it. I have been wondering myself if you could get something that looks similar with translucent black powder coating?

plastic wash tub, car battery, water, rit dye and some electrolytes
