What in tarnation is this?
« on: December 27, 2008, 12:16:43 AM »
Seems hypocritical don't ya think? I mean, the Earth Liberation Front sponsoring a racing motorcycle?

Anyone have the 411 (information) on this strange beast?

Ridden by Ron Haslam in 1985?? I think.

Essentially an NS500 2-stroke GP bike.

Forkless.

Bike was called the "Works ELF 2 500-3 Honda"

If I'm not mistaken Ron won a championship on that bike.

lookit the big brain on havoc! :D

That's cool man, thanks. I've seen some Italian bikes with front suspensions similar to this but not yet a Honda. I'd like to see some necked pix though! Would you think it's 'standard' NS500 save that front end?

word up yo, dat be mad... ok that's about as far as i can go with "street" talking. the hamster rumor is i'm afraid way off. e.l.f. would never go for the exploitation of animals for the benefit of the scourge of the globe, humans.

the whole grains diet is too a perpetuation of another myth. in truth hamsters are quite carnivorous with similar nutritional requirements as your typical domestic feline.

lol my brain is pretty small compared to most....

Should be standard NS500 save for the front end and wheels. Rumor has it that despite all the wins he chocked up, Ron had one heck of a time getting that thing to corner. Bimota made that front end easier to maneuver when they introduced heim(sp?) joints at all the connections.

Lots of binding going on there I hear.
