I think at some of the bikes pictured earlier are rebadged Royal Enfields.  Especially the 500cc models, not the two strokes.  In order to prop up poor sales from both ends, Indian and Enfield tried to sell these bikes in North America as Indians.  Not very successfull.
There were also some Asian made Indians that appeared in the late 60's as small two stroke trail bikes.
