Langer as inertia sufficient.

Der imposante Auspuff besteht aus Edelstahl und hat durchgehend einen Durchmesser von 75 mm. The impressive exhaust is made of stainless steel and has point to a diameter of 75 mm. Einen Schalldämpfer besitzt dieser Riesenhuber nicht, denn man soll die Bison nicht nur sehen und fühlen, sondern auch hören können. A silencer, this Riesenhuber not, because it is not only the bison see and feel, but also can be heard....... I thought so too

My farmer neighbour has a 5 litre single cylinder tractor.

The piston stays still and the tractor goes up and down - it's brilliant for pulling tree stumps, but not very fast...

But seriously though......once you've had the experience of riding a 'proper' (meaning kick-started) thumper you'll realise what a hoot they can be. Just getting the b^gg#r started is all part of the rich experience!

Looks like a literal translation from German
 it should be more like,

The  imposing exhaust is made of stainless steel and has an ID of 75mm throughout.

This beast does not have a muffler, because one should not just see and feel the Bison , but be able to hear  it as well.

 :D :D Love that too.

I've heard of the 3L as well but have yet to find anything about it. I think this guy is intent on having the biggest so if the 3 litre shows expect a 3.5.

I couldn't find any video on this NSU but would love to see it started and to hear it.

But think of the bragging rights if you actually managed to get it started!

My 600 is definitely hard to start, but when I do get it running,
I leave it on until I see more than two neighbors looking out their windows.
