My farmer neighbour has a 5 litre single cylinder tractor.

 it should be more like,

This beast does not have a muffler, because one should not just see and feel the Bison , but be able to hear  it as well.

I've heard of the 3L as well but have yet to find anything about it. I think this guy is intent on having the biggest so if the 3 litre shows expect a 3.5.

I couldn't find any video on this NSU but would love to see it started and to hear it.

My 600 is definitely hard to start, but when I do get it running,
I leave it on until I see more than two neighbors looking out their windows.
