Thanks for posting this and other input folks. I recall seeing this contraption a while ago and wondered. I'm still an inexperienced rider who has yet to get off his can and take a good safety course; the adverts caught my eye figuring this could save my butt.

Prudent steps towards safety are a given and this device seemed reasonable enough, but I'm not sold just yet.

Seems like a product that could end up getting you skinned more than saving your hide.

Isn't that what people have been saying about the BMW power assisted brakes? When we are doing basic training with students we spend a lot of time on front and rear brake practice....better to get a feel for what your brakes will or will not do and then practice it, rather than hope that an electro/mechanical, or whatever, device will do it for you.

I don't think you'll have a problem with locking the frontbrake on an old CB.
Unless you like to ride on frozen lakes:)

Have twin disc in front,and got  nearly a front wheelie on my  old CB750 K7 last summer  :o
