K fork tubes in F forks?
« on: December 28, 2008, 10:09:30 PM »
i have a F front end and want to use it for my project but the tubes are bent.  will K tubes work with the F lowers?  what about the ones that cycle X sells?  those are Ks right?  will they "bolt" up to my F lowers?

if its for your cb750 i would say yes its only the fork "body' that is different on the "F" the forks tubes are the same size.

the forks i have are 78 750F forks.  the tubes are shot.
i can only find k tubes or the cycle x tube and i think those are listed for K bikes.  i know that some  of the K1-8 bikes had different lenghts but as lond as the rest of the tube is the same and also the same as the F tubes then im ok

I've got 78K tubes and internals in my 73K lowers...it was a half inch or so longer overall but worked just fine.
