Have been off line for a week, was wondering how all the guys from south Texas came through rita ?
Has anyone heard anything ?

Rita sent use some HUGE and beautifull waves, but that was about it...it was a few hundered miles from us which is always nice.

Kghost is in Detroit or somewhere flying something for someone...or something like that...

Don, that was the news I wanted to hear. Glad you are OK. is the restraunt still in one peice ?.

ohh yeah...winter is here so it will be slow for awhile....the red tide chased most of the tourists away for a week or so...Hell, I needed a vacation anyway. 

but it is still about 90 F everyday here...makes for some sticky riding...and yes I do ride with shorts sometimes.

The weather over here has just taken a change for the worst.
It's been wet all this week and the temp has dropped into the twenties, bringing with it all the aches and pains that I get, I can see it being a long winter.
I spent six months on the Gulf during your winter, it was just like a good summer over here, in the high seventies to high eighties all the time.
It was when your summer started that I could'nt take the heat, the last three weeks I was there it was over one hundred and ten.
I would love to spend the winter over there then come back here for the summer, would be able to go drag racing every week end.

It is rather nice to have the potential to ride, go boating and screw in the sand dunes every day of the year...but the heat does get a little brutal...

I will ride with lace up sneakers if I have to or putting around town... but never boat shoes or sandels of any kind...I like my toes
