Cool, I think it would be easier to get a mountain bike and fit a CB750 engine, then you can have 26" wheels.

man, my photoshop skills are really getting put to the test here.

OK, motha-effas!
Here's the one I just finished. REMEMBER IT'S PHOTOSHOP. not real yet.
The rear shocks aren't lengthened or scaled, just rotated in the picture, thats where it would sit if I mounted the 4inch stretch swingarm, those shocks are set to soft, but they're adjustable, I can stiffen up the rebound and preload if necessary.
Also, I can add a 3/4 inch section of material inside the upper cup to raise the spring length, or add a section of my old progressives up top with a ferrule.
I can also relocate the tail light and tag, and cut a half moon out of the cafe seat.
Maybe I would change the seat out for the short bubble like on the CR750. If I liked it better.

and yes, I know the swingarm and drum is out of scale.

21" can easily be supported by the stock swingarm config. Even if you lengthen it.

Well.... unless you widened the 21 rim by about 3 inches....

I don't understand, why to what? the bracing?
I'd rather not, cause I don't like the way braces look , but if it was necessary, because of twist I would have to.

I don't wanna go wider than a 120/70/21.

The stock front wheel of the 2000-2007 harley softail wideglide part number 43445-05 is a 21x3.0 inch 40 hole rim.
I'd just need to get stainless spokes for the stock 19 inch front wheel and continue the threads down the spoke.
lace up the wheel to the drum and trim off the excess.

There Geeto, I just saved a pile of money on getting "custom" length spokes for the rear wheel.

and I meant custom spoeks for the rear, but while we are at it did you actually measure the spokes of the HD 19" or the hub or are you just guessing it will work?

I measured the spokes for the 19inch honda with my eyeball and said to myself, "those are too long to lace up a rear drum to a 21 inch rim."
Then i said, "if I take a threading die to them and run the threads down as far as they need to be, then they'll work."

I'll have to use fat stainless spokes so the body is the size as the threaded shank. that way i don't have to worry about shallow threads. and I like stainless.

My question is, what are you going to use for tires on this beast? Unless you're going for the skinny/skinny look, or with dirt knobbies, your options are very slim, never mind it being kinda dangerous with no contact patch on your drive wheel....
Not trying to be a killjoy, just looking at it from a logistical standpoint...

110/90/18 is stock rear on the 750 remember?

I'll use 120/70/21 or a 130/70/21 for the rear. With that, I should have the same contact patch i did with my old 110/18 tire.

110/70/21 for the front.
I don't plan on doin' the twisties or drag, just riding to work and havin' fun on the street.

Yeah man, that's the idea so far, but I could change my mind. if I find something I like better or less expensive.

I'll wander around the salvage yards and eyeball some of the 21's, try to find a 21x2.50 if I can, and a 21x2.10 for the front. just to stagger the sizes.

I'm just thinkin' low cost and the widest rim I can get for the back without rubbing the swingarm.

I would try to find a shop that widens rims.... and get as many to the size you want. I'll take a pair if you do lol.

I'll look around the net for that. That way any style rim that suits you can be set to your desired width.
