Looks good, but like bouncer said, "a little tight", that's why I wanna stretch it a few inches.
but thanks for the physical mock up. It's always better than photoshop.

I measured a friends 21, it measured out to 28 inches floor to top of the 90/90.
I picked up a DOHC swing arm with all the hardware for $45 shipped.
Now I just gotta get the 21 inch hoops, some laces, and a rear hub.
I dropped my spare, and cracked the lip off... :(

once I get it all together I'll post a new thread showing the progress.
everything I say is pure speculation and
I have no idea what I'm talking about  ._.

Wanted to bring this one back from the dead. Still looking for info on doing a 19' rear shoulder dirt wheel on a '78 cb750 for a flat track set-up. Anybody have a bolt-up conversion?

aaaaaack! I think it was dunstall that used to put 19's on the back...
but it might've been tracy.
buchanan spokes will make you a set to got from your rear hub to the 19 wheel for $120 they have it all in the computer, just tell them the inside measurement from spoke hole to spoke hole and what the hub is off of.

I've been on hold with the 21'' wheel project due to lack of funding.
but I have confiscated a pair of hoops from a friend of mine for screwing me out of 80 bucks, so now I have rims and a front hub.

I talked to a member a few months ago and he had a rear hub assy for me, but I lost his messages. :(

I'd look through some dirt wheels from the 70-80-90's. Rears can be had in multitudes of sizes.

That way you can also get rear disc brakes as well as a slightly hard sprocket carrier set-up for really getting on it.

Wears through sprockets pretty quick though.

How quick? I put about 300+ miles on my bike a week right now. :o

Depends on how hard you shift... transition from clutch to throttle from a stop.

Also cornering throttle is a big sprocket eater as well as engine braking.

If you are riding a stock 750/550 etc and want to go to a dirt rear hub you'll be fine.

Probably get a couple of seasons out of a standard steel sprocket. Maybe 2-3 out of aluminum.

Depends on the brand and metal quality. And chain quality as well.

Alright, so looking at the Mule site, it looks like he's running 18's front and back and a taller tire:
http://mulemotorcycles.net/motorcycle-parts-for-sale.html

sounds alot easier for the look/price/time.

Those Morris wheel are missing the bearing carriers and would need to be made up or located (not an easy thing to find). The bearing carriers bolt to the sides of the wheel and are needed to put bearings in the wheel.

Heres a pic of a KZ 900 Morris front wheel. It shows the bearing carrier mounted in it.

I got to the planning and pricing stage when I was distracted by a gixxer front end swap that changed the direction of the bike.

forgive me, I didn't read all the posts on the thread.....

anyway, I built a triumph Thunderbird bobber, with a 21'' rear wheel.  did some frame mods, and extend the stock swingarm kept stock shock locations, just cut in the between the  mounts and axle and added some steel.  took stock rear hub, and a 21'' front and laced it to fit hub.

took a while to find someone to help me out and believe it wasn't a retarded idea... but it came out awesome.  hope I can throw up some pics.

01 triumph TB, 900cc liquid cooled triple, carbed, foot clutch, jockey shift behind the leg. clip on bars, and that's a bout it....  she's a beast. down 3 teeth on front sprocket, and up 5 on the rear to roll off the line with a purpose. had to eventually upgrade suspension front and rear to handle better.

low sided the bike 2 years ago, and has been sitting since.  snapped shift rod inside the case, and have to split the motor to replace it. , but have time to do so now, will get it up and running and let you know how it goes.

I did a 21'' front wheel on my old CB750 --->

The next bike I build (that will actually run under it's own power) will def. be more of a board tracker setup, with either as 23'' front and 21'' rear or something
along those lines.. That bike above is def. sweet. Gotta give a bike props for looking like it's going fast when it's standing still...

Pro,

Did I see you in the "Cafe Racer" TV series episode that was in Chicago.
What's the story?

is it so ridiculous?
has anyone ever seen this?
i wanna try it, to see what it'd look like on a cb750 cafe bike

i stuffed together a list of mods:
4 inch stretch swing arm
112 or so link chain
tall shocks to compensate for the length of the swingarm or relocate the mounting points
long spokes (dunno where to get spokes for a 21 inch wheel to a cb750 hub)
and a 21x2.25 inch rim

heres what gave me the idea

oh god thats sexy

I see no photo. So I do not like this. LOL..lol.
A 21 inch front wheel is only about 1 inch taller over all with tire. Not a big deal.

Oh yes, Please, and while you're at it, tell me more about your road glide with a 21" front wheel. Blah. Looks weak in my opinion, but as they say opinions are like #$%*s.
