my pop. he'd come back from 5/6 hours trips across java. bandung to cirebon sometimes further. travel with him sometime. some of the most exciting riding ever. this is one of the bikes he rode. there was a 250cc cap over there.

Early imprinting, I guess.  When I was around 2 or 3, a neighbors daughter had a boyfriend with a huge black bike.  Bigger than me.  Probably an Indian or Harley.  I just always knew I would have a motorcycle, it was just a matter of time.

My Pops. He owned a 1973 Honda CB350 Twin with the Burnt Orange color combo.

After he told me he gave my mother rides on it, I knew that was the way to get a woman!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

JK!  He never wanted me to drive bikes, but I told him as soon as I turn 18, I'm getting a bike
oneway or another.

I started with Vespa and Puch Magnum mopeds and then I got the itch to drive a REAL bike.

So we made a deal, I wouldn't ride alone but always by 2's and I could start riding motorcycles by my 15th and a half
birthday. 8) 8)

Man was my neighbor hood friends Pist!!!

And that's how it started.

Cheers

just kinda rolled into it. my sophomore year in college i was developing an interest in motorcycles. had a friend who owned an old 70's gs550 which was mildy cafed so i kinda looked into the older jap bikes. the summer of 2004 i went to an auction and picked up a 77 kz400 for $50 with a title. fixed it up a year later and fell in love. couple years later from that picked up and fixed my 78 cb750F. what's wierd, about a year before i got into bikes, i was telling myslef i'd never ride a motorcycle. i was being scared by my parents and friends parents (mostly the moms) that they were too dangerous. i now go through withdraws if i don't get to ride over extended periods of time. i guess it's an addiction to some

My Dad. I can not remember a time when he did not have a bike. He took me everywhere on the back and helped me buy my first bike (1970 CB450).

when I was a senior in high school and doing weight training with an X-marine friend who
had a 72 SOHC 750. He got me hooked on that too! I ended up that summer before college
with a green 71 750 k1.  ;D Hey, it would out run the 72 and that first year in college
I passed him with the weight lifting too! I got up to 330lbs. on the bench press and weighted 148lbs.
Add in a 600 dead lift and a 650 dead lift.  I was known as the guy with strong bones
cause there wasn't much else of me.  ;D

Hey Dave, I'm stumbling in the brush a bit now!  ;D And actually the only time
the leg really swells bad this week is when I had a rain out and stayed in the house
remodeling. But I certainly didn't tell the wife though she did notice. When I'm out
walking the mountains (slowly  ;)) the leg doesn't swell its the standing around that
gets it. I started on the bicycle trainer last Saturday and it really has helped.
You'll be glad to know I don't expect to hit a deer in the house.  ;D
Thanks for asking!
