Gave Heff a few days to see if he will start this one but he is still not back.

according to the rules that would be correct. You also get a small portion of his soul.

I want to nominate Mec's beautiful Egli replica, by far the best engineered bike on this site, bar none.

It's not finished yet though, so until then I'll go with Sam's CR, the poor old bugger isn't getting any younger, so it'd be nice if he saw his name in lights just once more, before everything fades to gray................

you should put a link to the voting thread, in this thread. (either in the first post, or the last post, ..or both)

that way , people like me, who forget, are reminded by the thread popping up in the "show new replies to your post"

and then people like Ben , who don't know where to vote , will have a link

Being a past winner and never being the owner of the bike (I was only the builder) I think it only fair to decline and give others the chance of their share of glory

Looking at it another way, until the bike is sold, it remains part of the inheritance of member Benly Ben

as it is his fathers machine. Perhaps someone would like to nominate it in his name, I'm sure he would accept.
