Pulled this from our very own gallery: "Milan Drag Strip, 1977." Who's is it?

CBX, origin I dunno.

Only thing I have on this is a name. Jeff DeLong. (sp?)

you've said that before.

i know there's smatterings of draggers in the forum but figured over all they were maybe under represented. years ago i was pondering a prostreet car build or, for the time, an unheard of prostreet bike using an ex drag frame. glad i went with a 440 nitrous duster... that bike woulda killed me!

but can you imagine the look on people's faces when you pull up to the light in a punched out 750 and car tire out back?

yeah that video was a happy find. six banger and a turbo... crazy. i'd like to see some sohc's though. remember seeing a 750(?) with a slushbox but can't find.

that is an good and amazing bikes using drag racing look so fast!! but the sport drag is too dangerous if using the motorcycle!?

Don't know that myself, there's a certain amount of risk in any motorsport. Maybe some of the drag racers will chime in.

These are AWESOME pictures!! Is the yellow beast yours by any chance?

The first small picture of Bill Hahn's bike with what looks like a rectangular headlight and cool header is kinda what I had in mind when I so foolishly though about a prostreet bike.

Awesome, just awesome.

Sadly that yellow one isn't mine. My 750 is still in pieces after almost 10 years. I almost cry every time I look at it.

As for your (sadly) former bike: it's absolutely a thing of beauty! Even in unfinished form and it makes even my pipe dream street racer look like crap! That swingarm looks like the tuning fork of the gods.

All I can say is... wow! I wanna know more but I know past relationships can be hard to talk about.

not much to tell...

999 twin tubo ducati. 36lbs of boost at full go.

Only got to take two runs down an actual race track with it before the heat from the turbos melted the glass and set it on fire... fun let me tell you.

Hence the carbon re-skin.

Right after it was finished and painted i was offered way more than i had in it.... so I sold it.

Somewhere around here there's a thread about top speed... used to do that with it also.

Sadly no.... I lost almost everything that wasn't in storage when my ex set my house on fire.

When she was arrested her excuse was that I would spend more time with her if I didn't have so much stuff.

I laugh about it now.... but it was scary as #$%* when it happened.

So I started over.

I bow to your superior image library. You have some very cool shots so much so I put a link on my desktop. High praise right up there with The Weather Channel.com and my local movie theater.

Seriously I hope others check it out. I think the only thing I might add are some older pix but ya got a great cross section.

lol he was at wide open throttle, at the edge of the lane (out of the groove) moving at about 78mph and climbing all while smoking the rear wheel.

I'm told he smoked it all the way down the track. Broke the front end too after he came down.

We met Boris and Dave Campos @ Bonneville in 07.

Met a lot of interesting people, by leaving out bikes at the end of the pavement, and catching rides in..

As a matter of fact, we were in the motorhome, while Boris drove & Daves daughter was showing us pics of her brothers dragbike

, looked like an 8sec Suzuki or maybe quicker..

Keith is 9 years older than me and was the first person this side the pond to run in the 8s.

this thing smoked all the way down the strip. he is called pete williams, a friend of mine and samcr750.
the bike did a 10.2 (1/4 mile) in 1968. he is now 60 something i just dont want to insult anyone (lol). he is now aming to beat that on a tuned up busa! read the rest of the website.
