Oh.

OK.

Forgot only mods can see that.

I'll give you all a clue: it has the word "spikeybike" in it!

Tell us it ain't so...    :P

Of course, ButterPants may have done it on purpose. After all, would you come on a new forum and immediately start flaming people with your own/usual email address?

Good question. There are a few pieces missing in this story. Maybe SB can fill in the gaps?

I think "FattyMcButterPants" is a plant to garner last minute 'circle the wagons' kind of support for Spikey; thus and ergo a decisive and crushing victory.

Touché Spikey.

Word is already out Oliver Stone bought the movie rights... but I don't like to spread gossip.

I almost posted similar to this but just couldn't pull the trigger.

oh come on now,  WTF??         why the hell would i ...... you know what, i'm not even gonna go there ....you guys should be ashamed of yourselves .

although i did find it odd that he would create an account , insult me the next day, then dissappear ?

;D ;D god damn there is just too much drama around this bike, i'm gonna go call Oliver
Oh.

OK.

Forgot only mods can see that.

You know maybe we should give him the benefit of the doubt, after all the crap he went thru with the fire. The bike is cool, He did alot of work on it. So is he deserving, probably did he make up a profile to start contreversy, posibly, was he ahead bofore fattymcpissedhispants posted? personaly I dont know. I takes a few minutes to set up a new email address with yahoo, gmail. the only one how will know for sure is Spikybike.............

Not knowing the person (ButterPants) I resist personality observations beyond what little we've seen, but... it's not a completely far fetched idea I suppose. Good point about a deceptive email Steve.

We can expect hush money from Oliver Stone in due course, ergo and thus, we'll all soon be riding trick out SOHC's.

ok folks ... here is the deal

when BOTY started , i was really excited  about it , i was telling all the guys at work about it , and voicing my general excitment ,    after a few days they were getting sick of it  and created butterpants to f@ck with me.

i then got a PM from Steve asking me why butter pants has the same IP address , witch made me rise an eyebrow
so i was telling one of the guys at work about the drama in this thread , he then fessed up that it was them ,

i am soooo pissed about this, totally a prank gone wrong ,   he says he didn't vote with butterpants,  there was another user they created to mess with me but appently never used

Does that mean the "prank" votes get deleted as well?

Is there a way to check who the real voters are?

I wonder if a deleted account will remove a vote as well.  Interesting.

Did the vote count actually go up since those posts on this thread.  I think I saw maybe one but that does not mean it was not someone else that voted.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

When I noticed it, (see oops post on page 3 or 4) it was at 19 but Paulages was at 16 and the pattern has not changed.

Correct me here but from what I see even with a couple of votes pulled from SB he still tops the count, no?

Hope this doesn't start looking like the Minnesota Senate election.

yes please do .

SB - I notice your Posting Activity By Time chart show you post at all hours of the day. Do you carry the work computer around with you?

i created my account at work (years ago), witch is why the IP's match ,

and as far as tainting the vote count ,  i don't think thats the case , but if it's causing others to doubt my honesty , then i will step down, period          i mean i wanna win , but what good is it if people think i cheated . it's not like there is prize money ,  the fact that i got even half the votes i have is awesome   some may recall,  i was in BOTM  4 times and got spanked all 4 times, till the bike caught fire and it was given to me .......   i just wanna be in the running on my own steam

Now I personally don't think stepping down is necessary. On the other hand if it were me Id take that bastard phattymcpissedhispants and Kick him in the shin, especially if I worked with him. It was a prank right? Kick him in the shin.
