I have never found cheaper tires than from Chapparal. I work in parts and got my tires from them cheaper than with my cost plus 10% employee discount!

Beat me to it.......  :D  Good prices, and they don't (or at least didn't) rape you on the shipping.

Well the price might be less else where you still want the shop you frequent to put them on for you right? Tell them what you find for the price on tires and meet them in the middle. We need our hometown dealers to stay afloat somehow, right?

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

Thanks for that heads up...have used Tires Unlimited for awhile, and thought they always had good prices...but Americanmototire has better prices and much better website aesthetic to boot! Have to check them out.

Funny you ask this.

I recently went through endless quotes, and internet shopping.
Eventually bought a set locally for a steal(were special ordered, then customer canceled after they arrived at the shop)

Overall for the tires I ended up with (michelin anakees) locally they wanted from 340 to 365 for the tires mount, balance, and new valve stems.

E-bay, found the same tires for 250 or so for a set that would fit my 19 front and 17 rear rims.

I got lucky happened into the right shop with the right wish list for tires, and they had a set for just under 200 for the set.
AND I still get local warranty and such offered for the tires.

Thats one thing you don't normally get for internet pruchases.

Check local shops that have online stores.
You can at times get online prices, with local service.

I am thinking of mounting this set myself using a new method I recently came across.
