can i run radial tires on my aluminum spoked rims with tubes?
« on: January 08, 2009, 07:24:32 PM »
I have a 72 cb750K and a 75 cb750F. They both have aluminum spoked wheels. I was told i could run radial tires with tubes in them. I've seen radial tubes out there, but none in my size. i'd like to get the better performance from the radial and I was told all this was possible, but i'd like some advice.

should i just stick with the bias or will the radials with regular inner tubes work great?

Thanks, Donnie

With stock width rims? What size tires? The radials I've seen use wider rims
Baja native.

fuzzy, are you using standard tubes or radial specific tubes?

stock rims i believe. 19x3 front with 100/90-19 tire, 18x3.5 rear with 130/80-18 tire. to get the radials, I'll need to figure out how to fit a 110 up front. would love to stuff a 150 in the rear.
