i would clean them. thats what i did. get yourself a brass wire wheel that you can chuck up in your drill. cover up any places that debris can get into and go to town make sure you clean up good after. a little simple green can help as well. but i didnt need to.

get the cam chain out of that hole. if you havent already. its most likely keeping it from turning. if it rotated to get 2 and 3 to the top then it should rotate no problem to get 1 and 4 up

the roller on my tensioner has notches in it  from where the chain interlocks with it, does this mean time for replacement?
got the pistons exposed now, do i need to be careful from leaving these exposed over night?

kinda weird picture but my camera suck so i inverted the colors. the dark spots are high spots the would interlock into the chain like the teeth on a gear.

paint came out pretty good for a rattle can. Im happy with the way the motor came out as well.

AS of now im just waiting on a few parts to come in. Ive got 16x5 rim for the rear and 16x3 rim for the front. Waiting on the spoke kits from sas. Took the forks apart last night, gonna polish them and maybe paint the fork tubes, they were pretty bad off, discovered my front brake was held on by one bold and some glue, haha. Was going to replace the rear wheel bearings but looks as if they were replaced fairly recently. rear hub is polishes as well. Gonna start on the steering bearings tonight hopefully. Bondoed the oil tank for a smooth look. As soon as my handlebar controls come in I can attach them to my clubmans and hopefully get it started within a week.
