Dual Disk / Double Banjo Bolt

Not sure if I am missing something obvoius here....

Instead of using a double banjo bolt fitting to run the lines to the two seperate brake calipers, could I just remove the brake sensor switch out of the "T" mounted on the lower tripple, and run single banjo fittings out of either side?

Yes. Only the early years of production had that T, so others need to do otherwise.

I did mine that way for several years, but was uncomfortable without a front brake light. So I filed the banjos thinner and stacked them both on the stock bolt.

Thanks for the input guys

My new master cylinder has an integrated brake switch built into it. So I no longer need the T mounted sensor. That combo switch/banjo is pretty slick tho

the combo banjo is really cool, have installed these in all my bikes that have rear disc brakes, no more hassling with springs lengths and switches that get stuck with mud and dirt.  recommended. some car spares stockists might have it at a much cheaper price and don't forget to check the thread though, they come in fine and coarse 10mm
