Cleaned up the floatbowls, and misc. carb parts (sorry i am still learning the mechanics here) and tried to get her running.

Seemed like it wasnt getting enough fuel, but it was coming through each carb fine. Good compression in the outside 2 cylinders at least..i dont knwo the numbers lol. Found out only one cylinder is really pumping, discovered by testing each header pipe for heat. I will update this with any progress my mechanic friend can make on getting this to purr again. Bike has been sitting since August, and it cost me 500 bucks with a parts bike included.

I was really researching bikes when I lived in Australia in 2005, never thought i would ever own one until this came around locally. Now I own a bike, have no licence yet, and barely know how to start it up. Luckily a buddy has been a licensed mechanic for 5 years and his garage is HEATED!

Let the fun begin....i got fairly big plans for the bike (cosmetically at least) and a few ideas I have yet to see on the forum. You are all a big help!  Check back

I started on a similar bike when I got into them back in the early 1990's.  Just about the same time I was listening to Pearl Jam.  Funny reference for your bike.  Good Luck!
