« on: January 13, 2009, 06:23:53 AM »
Lets see photos of your SOHC bike out doing what it does best -riding! Scenic shots, racing shots etc etc are all welcome...just no garage shots - save that for the project thread  ;). PLEASE ALSO ADD THE LOCATION WHERE THE PHOTO WAS TAKEN - thank you and have a great ride!

Here are a couple of mine...

Needles Highway, SD (October, 2001)

Devils Tower, WY (Oct, 2001)

Lunch stop at the open bbq stand on the Devils Highway, Mexico (Nov 2001)

Swiss Alps (Aug, 2003)

White Mountains, NH (2001)

Rio Grande, NM (Sept 2003)

Monument Valley, UT (Sept, 1992)

Lets see yours!

More off the road rather than on, but a rest stop/exploration of Green Lake just off M52 north of Chelsea.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

@ Smith Rock State Park.

If you watch a lot of Westerns the background may look familiar.

... and on the way home. Monkey Face in the background.

... and a few days later @ Suttle Lake. That's Henry's 750C .

Stopped to rest for a few and spent an hour there. For some odd reason, everyone who passed through just had to stop and gab about old bikes for a while.

Happy Trails.

This is my 78 750 on Signal Hill in St. John's Newfoundland Canada. (where the first transatlantic wireless radio transmission was received by Guglielmo Marconi, on Dec. 12, 1901 ) ;)

Behind the bike to the far left, you can see the Cape Spear Lighthouse (most easterly point in north America.)

Second one  is in Bay Bulls Newfoundland Canada

cheers

Along the Northern Lake Michigan shoreline along US-2 heading to St. Ignace in Michigan's Upper Peninsula (my riding buddy Mark is in this pic with his VTX):

And at the Mackinac Bridge Park (you guys have seen this one before):

Hey Jonesy...I take that road a few times year over the bridge.  Better not leave that bike unattended when I go through there.  It may find a spot in my truck... Nice pic... :)

Nothing too scenic Andy, but the bike is out on the road  ;)

These are all California roads in and around the San Francisco Bay area.

Calaveres Road on the way to Mt. Hamilton

A couple in the Santa Cruz Mountains

Stewarts Point(off Hwy1, Humboldt County)

And the gratuitous roadside repair outside Shelter Cove

Outside Reno on my way to Portland

Stopped to stretch my legs on the other side of Kalamath Falls

North side of Crater lake park at 10,000 elevation, I took the long way home.
