I was taking my aunts bike for a ride, since my bike is in project mode. I ran across some scenery you were talking about, not my doing though.

Today was one of the nicest we've had this season, so I got the battery out and into the 350 Four.  It started-up very well and purred so sweetly that I had to take it for a ride.  Our road is still pretty messy but I did manage a few kilometers and took it all the way around the big block.  The paved highway was much better.

Here are a couple of pictures on the road after its first ride this season.

Hondanut - A Very Nice Bike!

My road is like that right now but I won't take her out until it's dry.

Ordered new front tire and a new chain today! Oh Boy!

George, thanks for the complement!  I hadn't cleaned the bike before the ride, but I did get the hose out and on it after.  I think now that "I got that out of my system", I'll also be waiting until my road is dry.

Cracker day here in my part of NZ, there are some rather interesting wood carvings here abouts so took my camera along. These are all carved out of dead trees with their roots still in the ground, very clever stuff, the first pic is situated at the top of a nice long hill with heaps of twisties  ;D the smaller carvings are out at a local golf course hence the golfing theme. Was going to take more photos but the camera died on me.
Gratuitous shot of my bike just cos she looked so good in the morning sun. :D
The last pic is of a stump yet to be carved.

Note: I did rotate those photos on my pc but when I load them on here it spins them back?

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Not sure about humans controlling the weather...but I also was looking forward to a nice back road ride with everyone.  But some of us are pragmatic.   ;D

A ride north toward you, SW on the BRP to Route 80 and back would make a nice trip.

Got out for a sanity ride.  No fuel leaking out the overflow tubes.  I might of finally beaten that chit.  WooHoo!

I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.
