550, I'm not a big fan of cafe bikes, but what you've done with yours is true a work of art with its beautiful lines and visional flow! That award was well earned judging from these photos, you may have converted this old-school purist to crossing over to the cafe side, well done brother!!!

Went for a ride today and ran across a couple of interesting things. The first is an old Victorian house in the little town of Los Alamos. I don't know what the history of the place is but it's beautifully restored and there is an old sailboat in dry dock in the yard.
The second was this 10 foot tall metal guy who seemed to be guarding an old British bike frame. This was at the Paradise store near Cachuma Lake. Did you notice he is anatomically correct?

Here's my K8 on a recent trip to Lake Wylie SC ,(I trailered her the 1100 miles from Houston ) Quite a refreshing change from the roads of Houston to the back roads of SC and NC . I'm changing my  bikes name to "The Baby Sitter" I thoroughly enjoyed spanking my buds Dyna in the corners and I'm sure he enjoyed beating me in a straight line !! Although not very often !
Found this bike in completely stock condition in Feb. 08. Paid over twice what my new one cost 30 years ago. Am trying to re-create the look of the late 70's Drag Bike styling.More later. 4-2-10 It ain't stock any more and I have no idea what I am trying to create !

Hey George, I hear ya about ridin with a Harley. My bud has an 05 Heritage and I can lose him in the turns but out on the open road......he loses me.....I can wrap up and catch him but I guess it just comes down to what kinda riding you like to do. I like my 750 for around town....short distance runs (50-100 miles) but I'd rather rock the Harley for the long hiway stuff. There isn't any law I'm aware of that won't let you have more than one though!!! 8) I don't believe I will ever get rid of my bike to replace it with another.

I guess I haven't put up an on the road picture on this post. The one with the VW bus is in Oakdale,Ca. (cowboy capital of the world)....The other one was taken in Farmington, Ca. on the way to Nevada on the first rally (2011). I do need to get some better background pics for sure!!!
