That's some good looking grub Per! How far across the Baltic see did the ferry take you? ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Until tomorrow I am based out of my Uncle's home, which is a few miles from Salem, SC, abt 30 minutes from Clemson.

At Bandemer Park on the Huron River in Ann Arbor.
This is the flat water behind Argo Dam. There are usually lots of paddlers here including UM Crew team, but I don't see any just now. I'm on the 10mph wooden plank bridge that accesses the disc golf course. M14 crosses on the high bridge at 70mph. It is at the bottom of a long grade with a sharp curve at the west end of the bridge. Two trucks tangled last week and closed the bridge all day, one fatality.

This is looking west on the same bridge, October 2017. The sunbeams are shining down on the Crew team. They have to navigate the RR bridge piers without busting their oars.

Thanks for sharing, Kevin! Cool pics! Been to Ann Arbor once.... for a game at the Big House. Really beautiful area and cool atmosphere in town. Would love to go back some day.

I'll be near there next week attending the Rolling Sculpture Car Show on July 12th.

Have never been but heard it is a huge show with about 300 classic cars.

Not sure what I'll be driving yet, maybe a '65 Cobra or a '61 Corvette!

Nice, I've heard that Europe is having really hot weather at the moment thanks to good old global warming (which has apparently deserted Oz because it's fcuking freezing here at the moment) but if this trend continues, I might have to take a trip to Sweden in years to come Per, last time I was in Europe, your summer was about equivalent to our winter! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Terry, our weather now reminds me about my summer memories of the 70- 90's. Like your winter. Most summers you have to be south of the Alps, Pyrenees to get sun and avoid rain.

If comparing climate with ice age with kilometer thick ice, yes, global warming :)
12-19C and clouds protecting us.
I wish more bike weather. I had to cancel the weekly Monday bike- car meet yesterday due to bad rain showers.

There are times when I wish I had more CBs in the stable to share and a car to show too. I have just this one weather dependent vehicle, and a short season to enjoy it.
PeWe
Strawberry season is just finishing here and it is too soon for raspberries yet. Rainy June postponed the strawberries, now we have sunshine, heat, humidity. 88F +\-. I'm going to have to wear a long sleeve shirt next time out, my arms are sunburned from yesterday's ride. My CB has never been on a ferry. We have one river ferry nearby but the Canadian landing was destroyed by ice floes maybe loosened by a zealous Canadian icebreaker, and now the big question is, how will the repair be paid for?
Joey
Come on back when you can. There is lots going on in AA most of the time.

I have been really bad about taking pictures of my bike during my trip. 985 miles so far. Today I head home and will ride a good stretch on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Hitting the road again. Today a short (relatively speaking) ride to Columbus with a stop at the AMA museum in Pickerington, then my favorite pie shop on the planet, Just Pies, which happens to be in Columbus.
