Wow, an Ariel square 4 chop would have been cool, I had an uncle who was a 1 percenter who rode a Vincent chopper, which was pretty cool. Between him and his brother they had 3 Vincent twins, a single, a square 4, and a couple of Matchless 500 singles. I'd love to have his collection now! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

You need a project thread for the bike.  More will come, thats for sure.

I should have done that for my K6, all work and changes in one long project thread. Started 2010 and still ongoing.

Most of the work spread on various threads on this forum.

Us greasy fingered bikers ride to Red Door East , Nashville TN every Sunday at about 4 pm for beers and bike talk. It's a tradition with 3 to 15 folks showing up on any Sunday. We can be outside on the deck drooling over our bikes for at least 40 of the 52 weeks in the year ! Shameless pic repeat !

Beautiful pics Dave, pity about the smoke, we haven't had any fires worth talking about yet, but the nuts will be out soon enough, like that little turd from the RFS in NSW who lit the fires around Bega. I'll have to be careful when riding my favourite roads, there's lots of fuel on the ground. ;D

Yep, dead right mate, but they need to weed those pr1cks out, the CFA and DSE here in Victoria have more than their fair share of fire bugs, you only have to google "CFA Fire Bug" and you get way too many hits. Good work by the fair dinkum fire fighters though. ;D

I don't know, but I've met a lot of CFA guys here as many were also in the Army Reserve, and I have a feeling that the desire to put bums on seats might outweigh the need to look too closely at them. ;D

That's a nice old chop mate, I'd like to build one, one day, I've got a couple of engines, I just need a frame. ;D

Thank you, I would like to build one with a custom frame, low and long with a more rider friendly front end. I love this bike though.

Well the old Swamp Rat is no longer mine. I rode it to work this morning and shortly afterwards the keys were handed over in return for 30 pieces of silver, or so I felt as I walked past it on my way to get into an Uber for my ride home. I did take it for a great ride on Sunday though, and it performed almost faultlessly.

I'm going to do some upgrades to the K2 Bitsa bike that I built 2 years ago, so at least I won't be CB750-less over the holidays. ;D

There are people who think it is silly to have an emotional attachment to a machine, no matter how faithful. Too bad for them, they are missing out.  ;)

Good looking bike, Terry!
You transformed a swamp monster to a good looking classical bike people will admire and get flashbacks of forgotten times decades ago.

You have got taste for a pure stock looking bike, right?

Yet another Christmas Day ride, had many over the years. Just above  freezing rode around the hills here,, only 5 miles, did 10 yesterday.  Roads were bare, wet in spots, gravelly on some turns..... Last day insured.
