Refresh our memory on the "Big Bang" bike Steve. Is that the one that threw the rod through the front of the engine ? This one has an 836 in it correct ? Maybe a bigger bang ?
Greg, shocks that old are just springs with damping caused by friction of seals...
Beautiful photos ofreen!I see your bike has a mudflap on front fender. That protect the engine on gravel roads.I have had oil changes when I had to wash engine first due to sand that has covered the area around filter due to no mudgard.
Camping at our local Harvest Classic Motorcycle Rally...And a quick trip to the post office!!

Great shots as always, Greg. Have never seen tractor tires like that at a cattle guard in your 7th pic. Have something to do with snow?

Have something to do with snow? Thanks Stev-o, I am enjoying your photos too.I am just speculating about the tires, but possibly they were put up as a block after someone's cow got in trouble trying to go around the end. I attached a photo from a different angle that shows there are large gaps between the rails on the side wings.
