Took my first little ride out by myself yesterday since I cleaned the carbs, installed the Barnett clutch kit, K&N air filter and fixed some wiring. Took up the road about 30 miles to Oak Glen, CA. It was such a nice day that I couldn't help but take her out.  :)

My '74 on Halloween Monday at the Gazebo in Chaska, MN.  Still have at least 2 more days with forecasts over 50 degrees, so hopefully riding season isn't over yet.

Yes, smpls70, I was sadly slowly retracing my route looking for the emblem I lost after taking that photo! You must not have been on your bike, or I'd have noticed. Do you work out that way? (Would still like to get a group of SOHC riders together for a picture down at the historic gas station in Carver one day).

If you see a nice shiny emblem anywhere from there to Lake Calhoun (via Hwy 101 to 7), please let me know!

Bomber and Steve, thanks for the compliments on the bike. It's running great.

A co-worker of mine  and his buddy have a shop on that road , they build mud trucks , he was helping me fix something on my car , we were driving to the auto parts store and you were just pulling onto Bluff Creek rd., small world.
Ive tried to find that gas station in Carver , got lost and it was getting late, send me a PM if ya wanna meet up. would like to check that place out sometime .

Here's one more for you hoo. 20 years ago I spend a lot of time here with both my boys when the were playing little league baseball. Stopped by today while out on the K6 just to reminisce a little bit. I hope in 2012 I can get some 341's back on it :)

Rode to a car show at Nojoqui Falls  park. This is put on by the  Central Coast Street Rods that I was a member of 25 years ago when I had a roadster that I built. Today's show was the 39th annual. Best kind of show there is, it's all free! No entry fee, food and drinks are free and lots of raffle prizes. They survive on donations but nothing is required. Great turnout!

Hi Bob,

I   r e a l l y   like the way that 500 turned out.  I would not have imagined it looking so right in yellow and white.  What kind of pipe is on there?  I can't quite figure it out.  How about a left side picture?

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!
