Just after fixing it up:

To Honda with Love: 1975 CB550
Arblebang: Have you felt the head pipes for even heat? It may just be the video but I only hear three cylinders.

Lol thanks man

And Bob, yeah the bike was running well at the time of the video, and the time that I sold it. I use a digital thermometer to check the header pipes, I could never quite get them perfect regardless of how much I synced it, but I got them to within 10 degrees of each other and thats just fine for me. No missing cylinders. Damn I do miss that one, but currently Im tinkering on a 77 CB550 cafe racer, which should be good to go once I get a replacement points plate from ebay.

Andy, you just don't talk the talk as they say you walk the walk. You lay down the miles. I always enjoy your pics when the 750 and you are out on the road. 75000 miles that's a lot of roads covered and that shows these sohc4's in your case the CB 750 is up to and more than capable of the challenge. Keep it up and be safe

dhall

Thanks for the kind words and glad you enjoy the photos. Keep in mind this is one of 3 bikes I  ride (CB750K4, CB810K2 and VStrom) - they all get their turns ;)

cheers
Andy

Thanks Guys!   :D
It's actually an observatory on the lake.  Pretty neat, huh!
The photo was taken off my phone but I didn't have full resolution on, 1Megapixel instead of 8Megapixels  :(
Maybe this weekend I can take a better pic somewhere else  ;D

Got a couple friends out on the road for their first ride in years. One guy's been off the bike for almost 10 years, the other nearly 20. They had a blast!

So much to do, so little time.

Returning from dropping Godzilla off to the next riders, photo is from the scenic hilltop lookout above Waipukurau.
Bikes resting under a shady tree, riders pictured are Mike Steele (Harley 1200) Vyron Russell (Honda VT750) and of course Jaffa. ;D
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!
