Yes, bike was running, just stopped for a minute to snap a pic. It hasn't been dusty lately since we've had a little rain.
I love riding the 550, so light & nimble, but with the clubmans I would not even think of taking it on a long ride. The K4 is so much more comfortable to ride, like an EZ Boy!

I am an idiot.. Whats an EZ boy? Still looks like your neck of the woods would be a great place to ride.

Took a ride to Santa Barbara today to pick up a clutch cable. I stopped at this old gas station on the way. It is just on the north side of Goleta. There was a sign that said it was the first Barnsdall-Rio Grande service station built in the early 1920's. The sign also said that it was used in the movie "The Postman Always Rings Twice" made in 1980.

Good looking bike!
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Murphy's Point Provincial Park (Just south of Perth, Ontario)

On the iPhone map "Highway" 21 looks like a major highway. But not so much. :)

Then I made it to a gas station just outside of Westport, Ontario. Gotta love microwaved LumberJack Sandwiches from the back-road gas station.

Camped on the back of my buddies farm. Woke up to a great sunrise.

Hey Orange, there are some truly great riding roads up there near Perth/Westport & north.  Be sure & try 511 from Perth to Calaboogie, it's been  over a year later & I still rave about that one to my friends, gotta get back there this summer!

The weather here was so good today that I had to go for a ride to nowhere in particular. I went through Solvang toward the little town of Los Olivos and on the way I passed a ranch where they raise miniature horses. These little guys are only about 3 to 3 1/2 feet tall. I tried to get some pictures but I couldn't coax any of them close enough to the fence to get both them and the bike in the picture to give them some scale. In the pix I took they just look like regular horses standing in a pasture. I'll try to do a better job next time. In Los Olivos I stopped at Mattei's Tavern but it wasn't open. Here's a couple pix of the place. I've had some good steaks in there and tipped a few brews too.

Yeah it was incredible up there. If you get back there, there's this nice little road from #7 to Westport called Bolingbroke Rd. Just amazing. I posted the shot in another thread, but here it is again--a wooden bridge over a railway on BoilingBroke.

I can't stop thinking about my trip up there as well. I was blown away. I did Kingsville (near Windsor) to Sarnia / up along Lake Heron to Owen Sound / over to Orillia / down to Peterbourgh / and then #7 over to Perth. Amazing ride. The I spent a few days touring the back roads in the area. My buddy lives just east of WestPort.

I just checked out the roads from Perth to Calaboogie. I'll definitely add that to my trip for sure! It will be my first major trip when the weather breaks.

Although I might trailer my bike to southern Florida for a week or so of riding. I have family near Fort Myers, and I thought about a trip down to the Keys. It would break up the winter very nicely.

That's what I was going for when I built it actually.  I think in the end It would have been way easier just to modify one or make a mold out of it than to make it from scratch.  My next "on the road" pic will look pretty different tho  ;D build in progress.

Whew!  Can't say how long it has taken me to go through the entire thread, maybe not as long as it has been going.  Some fantastic pictures

I saw that picture between "Rockville and Bridgeton"  Nice.  My area.

My wife and I's first date was a motorcycle ride (CB750K2) to the Covered Bridge Festival. Our first little squeeze was on the original pre-fire Bridgeton Bridge. 1982.

Which reply are you referring to, I'd like to go back and take a look?

Yes this thread is very inspiring.
