Dave, it's a 400f. (see attached pictures)    I'm so envious of your climate.  I bought my bike last October and spent the Winter tidying it up ready for the Summer!!  Truth is i've hardly had the chance to get out on her.  I know, I know....fair weather bikers and all that, but British "Summer time" is unbelievable.  I do hope to get out again with my camera soon and bring some more of the Scottish countryside to everyone out there.
riseandshine, wow! fantastic scenery
All the best

Kenny,

Get some of those photos in the Calendar thread - see my signature for the link - the one with the bike against the tower is good!

And I know you have plenty of good photo opportunities in Dumfries so get that camera working!

good luck!

Cheers Andy.
I've been meaning to ask if you have some Scottish roots?  going by the saltire flag on the back of your top box.

I'll have a wee look at the calendar thread too.

Good eye Kenny. I am Scottish and come from Glasgow (via Ayrshire) and used to drive up through Dumfries all the time when I lived in England for a few years (via the M8). Also cycled the Southern Upland Way. I was back home in May this year and rented a bike from Suzuki of Cupar (great guys) and spent a week touring the Highlands and Islands (Lewis, Harris, Skye) in glorious sunshine - check out my Scottish Castles motorcycle thread - see real sunshine!  ;D

Currently living in Boston, MA so if you are ever over this way give me a shout. I have spare bikes and beers on me ;)

cheers

I get that way too, usually after a Taco Hell burrito dinner.
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.
