Went for a ride today and stumbled across a harvest festival in the little town of Los Olivos. Great display of old tractors and stationary engines.

Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Last Sunday 10/21/12 at a memorial party. Not a huge ride but I did it alone. 35 miles each way. The first real decent distance that I've done since the rebuild. Although I did commute to work on it about 15 miles each way all summer. I was able to use the rokform iphone case and it magnetically stuck on the tank door and the new apple maps served me well even at 75mph. And yes... I brought a honda to a cut-throat harley party.

That's one shiny bike! Looks oiled up like a body builder.

Oiled up like a bodybuilder ??? Never heard that one before when describing a CB750 Schnell. But I did spend about 15 min. oiling it down real good with baby oil before pulling out of the garage this morning, how about a double bicep pose ;)
