Last week above Lake Travis....

Nice pic Stev-o. This makes Canadians very envious this time of year.

My last ride for the year in Ontario, October 2013. After reading this thread I'm seriously thinking of a retirement move to the southern US.

Dhall is that the new exhaust?  I wish I could have ridden today but I wouldn't have gotten up my hill with the melt.

The pipes are for my K6. Still have to get some mtn hardware so I can get them put on.

The pipes that are on the KO are the original HM300.

Took advantage of the break in weather yesterday and got the bike out on the road for a good hour ride.

There was a good rain the day before, but I was still worried about all the salt on the roads... Knowing the gas in the tank/carbs was getting close to 3 months old I decided to take her out.

Crossed the New South Wales border on Sunday for lunch at the Crown Hotel in Urbenville. Great day for a ride with a club mate on his K7. There's also a pic of the twisties along the Mt. Lindesay H'way.

Here are some pics from yesterday's ride over the ridge above Santa Barbara on East Camino Cielo Road. This is looking down on the  Gibraltar Reservoir. Really low water level due to our drought situation.

My son Justin just pulled the KO out off garage so not on the road yet but headed that way. I was able to snap a pic before he left.

Nice shots as usual Bob, I envy your weather.  Even we have heard up here about the drought in CA, is anybody developing a long term plan or solution? We know CA is  the major source of US fruit & veggies & prices are sure to rise.

Thanks Rustyolive!

Yeah, I was actually looking for a blue 75F when I bought this one (around 6 years ago on ebay) - But the orange sunset metallic flake has really won me over.  The tank is actually a NOS one I got a while bake - really really makes the bike stand out (pictures really don't do these tanks justice - they really shine in person when you notice the flake).

Aw ya. I agree.. Photos don't do these tanks justice. Lol the tank on this 750 is in good shape. But the P.O. tried to spray paint the top half with some store brand paint, because the sun had burnt off the clear coat. Its not a good job. The new owner has plans to get the tank done properly. Can't wait to see it in its new fresh glory bling.. Lol

Heres a short vid of the bike on the way to delivering it to its owner. Love the cyclex shorty on it. Sounds pretty good. I think. Lol

I don't know how you guys in cold weather climates do it, I couldn't.

Because in the Spring/Summer and Fall we have excellent riding; great roads and amazing scenery  - especially here in the Northeast. Last place I want to be is in humid Florida in the summer  ;) Do you even have twisty roads down there or are they all straight?

Enjoy your ride!
cheers
Andy
