No ,it wasn't a gang of tough, dirty Honda  bikers that hit town and frightened some of the old ladies  last Friday.

It was riding time for some of the herd.Took 1/2 the day off just to run them. Gotta run some of them or they stop running.
Maybe I can fire up the rest next week.
A few Honda 500's, a few Honda 550's, a few Honda 650's, '72 cb 450, a couple 500/550/650 hybrids, and 2001 750.
550 Snowbike -Somebody had to do it.

Thanks Bob!

Here's a shot from today, crossing the north cascades in Washington state.

There's just a little bit of road showing.
Hope you enjoyed the PNW, and didn't come too close to the wildfire destruction.  If youre still here and need a rest stop, I'm between hwy20 and Seattle....

Stopped to say hello to this folk artist while on the road home from my 4 week long, so far, retirement trip.

Partly because of this forum!

I've ridden the BMW for 15 years. The Honda, just for 1 1/2 years. It feels new and exciting.

A 350 twin, my 550F, and a 350 four on the side of Dyno Road (awesome, right?) on Saturday on our way from Toronto to Algonquin Park for a little moto camping trip/party called Two in the Bush.  Probably 35 bikes ranging from newer (and older) H-Ds, a wicked old BSA chopper, Triumphs, a CBR600, various dual sports, our and other old Hondas/Suzukis/Yamahas - a really great mix of people and bikes.

Also, what seemed like the world's longest, twistiest, loosest, but loveliest gravel road accessing one of the lakes.

Great shot and one of the best driving roads according to Top Gear :). Reminds me of the Passo del Stelvio, Italian Alps.

Hope you had a good trip

Is it lake Travis, Steve?

Yes, they dammed the Colorado River to form Lake Travis back in the '30's.  With the extreme drought we're in, it's more of a river these days (30' below normal)

That looks good with the black side panel and air box.
Reminds me to my GT550 I had in the late 70th.

Not mine but thats about how she looked.
