Yesterday my Dad and I took the 750's to an Indian dealership for demo rides. The new Scout a blast to ride!

This is from today. Tews, Sean, Denis, John, Jerry and I stopped for lunch after riding around with PimpZilla a bit. Everyone was standing around and debating which year was the best 750

Even though my frame of reference is limited to 70's Hondas, I still found the bike to be incredibly impressive. I demo'ed a couple sportsters 2 years ago and this bike blows them out of the water. I'm not crazy about the look but the riding experience was so much fun. The whole bike felt so solid and when the engine really winds up it sounded like a V8 drag car or perhaps just a hint of Ducati. If I had my way I'd give it mid mounted controls and go more retro and less steampunk with the styling.

Not at all, look at the early TZ yamaha frames or vincents and plenty more, same or even steeper shock angle {monoshock though on TZ}, as long as the shock is designed for that bike it will be fine, actually, after reading a few ride reports it supposed to handle very well..

At $11000 I think they will get some sales, but I wont be laying out 5 figures for a motorbike anytime soon.
I'd like to try them all if I can manage it. I kinda like the vintage chief but not the fem paint colors or the frilly seat and bags. I want to hear that 111 engine growl.

1133cc, 100 hp and only 538 pounds with all fluids except fuel, thats far lighter than the Harley's so it should go very well...

Took a ride out to Mt. Rainier last Sunday for my birthday. Didn't take many scenic shots, too busy having fun.

Here's a few mid-ride shots of us stretching/warming up and prepping for the last climb up to Sunrise.
