A relaxing ride today too.
I stopped by a bike shop 70  km away from my home. An old CB750 will always get people talking about their old CB750's not running or from the old days. Here  among many BMW's since it is a BMW dealer.

Beautiful narrow country roads most of the way.

I put these in the 750F thread a couple of days a go, but figured I might as well stick them in here.

Out and about in the Perthshire Highlands.

jambox, that is a really nice bike, but what is up with your tail light?  You got a k model rear fender or something?

Jambox I am wondering where you got your F2. The only reason I ask is that back in 1994 I purchased a red 1978 F2 that had a similar exhaust to yours and was built by a guy in Crieff. I just wondered if maybe he had built yours at some point.

cheers

Today a crusing day too! This time not carb testing, nor ignition  testing in legal speeds 3500-4000 rpm on 5:th gear. Charging adjustment and testing.

I believe that it's just the setup on UK spec models, I remember reading it somewhere (can't remember where) that they were different.

I do prefer the look of the US setup, was thinking of integrating it into the rear cowl somehow.

I got it from a dealer in Edinburgh, selling on behalf of a collector.

I'm pretty sure they said that he got it shipped up from down in England somewhere.

The exhaust is a Motad, pretty popular brand back in the day, so probably was the same one on your bike.

It was too beautiful of a day to not go for short, after work ride down the coast.

Here's the old girl taking in the scenery at Pescadero State Beach.
It's ok if it leaks a little oil, that just means there is oil in it.
It's when it stops leaking that you should worry.

just working on the seat... but here she is

PS>>> What colour patterns should i use on my HONDA gas tank emblems..? not sure to leave letters black, or background of letters black and which colours to use.

Should? On your custom bike you should use whatever combo looks good to you.

Yes you are correct it was a Motad exhaust on mine as well. Thanks for the reminder and enjoy the Perthshire roads on that bike - love the Cairngorms for riding.

My 1974 CB350 Four, back on the road for the first time since 2003.   I've had it for six years, finally got around to resurrecting it this past winter.
It's all original, except for the #1 pipe, which had a rust hole between header and exhaust.   I got lucky several years back and scored an NOS one off eBay.

Props to harisuluv who did the carb rebuild.   It runs very well!

At the Pecan Grove Store north of Fredericksburg TX for a vintage motorcycle show.  Not entered in the show of course, just rode out for the ride, music, burgers and some nice bikes.

Steve, I should have posted it to the Harvest Classic meetup thread for the TX guys.  It got rained out the previous weekend, then happened.  I enjoyed the place also and thought the wife would enjoy it, that Velocette was her favorite.
