She is standing in front of a huge and heavy metal safe full of cash she made when she was a young hottie. Who knows she might be a 'cougar' right now looking for a young cub  ;)

Nah, she hasn't had any work for awhile, so is working as a night watchman at a sperm bank Eric. She's a 2 paper bag job, one for her and one for you, just in case hers breaks....... ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Finally made it to a bike night event, Pints and Pistons at Reggie's Music Joint in Chicago's south loop (if you're old like me, about a block south of where Warshawsky's was back in the day).

There are a pair of nice sweepers on Mount Hope road where it meets with Hannewald just east of Munith. As bad as the weather has been, I think the corn is flourishing with these conditions.
At lunch, I met Dave, he was riding a 3rd gen Magna. He was departing as I was arriving and when he spotted my bike he took an immediate interest. One of the nicest things about being retired is being able to take time, as much as you want, for whatever you want. So we talked for an hour about my bike, about his bike and travels.

It will count if meeting her now and later show friends the hot photo from the late 60's and say, done her. A real hottie! They will be jelous!

Like a Sandcast, rode it 1969 or 2021 and writing about it in this thread. ;D Probably more fantastic now!! Who cared about Sandcasts back then?

I was easy to convince to follow hot looking women in their 40-50s home after nightclubs in my 25-30's. How do they look now 30-35 years later? A friend once told me a good construction will stay good! ;D

Ha ha, there are more women in the world than there are men Per, so no need to go chasing grannies unless you're a desperado, but my old Italian boss used to say, "An old chicken makes the best soup", so maybe it's a European thing? Over here if you want to pick up an old sheila you just go to any poker machine venue and you can take your pick.

I upset the warehouse manager at HMAS Cerberus a few years ago, she was in her late 40's and looked every day of it, plus a couple more. She boasted to me that she and one of her desperate old "Cougar" (more like Sabre Tooth Tigers, IMHO) friends went to a nightclub and were picked up by two young sailors. As she worked on a military base I assumed that she was aware that young servicemen have been enjoying "Grab a Grannie" nights for as long as I can remember, but when I told her she blew up, shouting, "I'm not a granny, I was only born in 1970!". Hmmnn, I think I'd rather ride my K0....... ;D

Rode along Lake Michigan today. About 10 degrees cooler than it was further inland. Crossed the state border from Indiana to Michigan and stopped in New Buffalo for a bit. Town was packed with cars from Illinois. People dig the bike, get stuck chatting most places I stop which I'm sure you all go through also.Beautiful day.

Thanks, so do I. I don't really like the looks of the Comstars and feel they are somewhat hidden when painted black. Sometime in the future I hope I can afford replacing them with spoked ones.

There were a few of the Comstars, fitted to Goldwings and Silverwings I think that had aluminum spokes, instead of steel. They are heck of a lot of work to do, but can be mirror polished once stripped back.

That's a great ride. If you ever have the time I really recommend taking a few days to ride all the way up to Grand Traverse. It takes some planning to stick close to the lake, but the ride is incredible, the Blue Star Highway, Lake Shore Ave north of Holland, US-31 out of Grand Haven to Business 31 in Muskegon which becomes Shoreline Drive, eventually the M-22, which might be the best riding road in the upper Midwest, then the M-31 again, and then M-119, the Tunnel of Trees, north of Petoskey eventually to Mackinac City (with a few more changes in roads). It is a really fun and super beautiful ride. Here are some pictures from my trip down it in 2013 during the Relay Rally.

The first is the Arcadia Scenic Turnout off the M-22, the second is on the M-119 near Harbor Springs, the 3rd is the Arcadia Bay, the last one is Sean Barney riding through a section of the Tunnel of Trees.

Friday here and miserable weather, but it's only gonna get worse over the next few days, so after annoying my boss this morning, he suggested that I take the rest of the day off, so what better way to spend the day than go for a ride? It didn't rain much, but was icy cold, and the headwind was miserable, 70 miles of being pushed backwards really pissed me off, but the flipside is, I absolutely flew home. I think I've done around 2500 miles on the old K2 bitsa and I noticed that the tappets are a bit rattley when I got home after another 130 miler, so I better adjust them before my next ride.

All in all not a bad ride though, but I am so looking forward to T shirt and shorts weather again, winter sucks balls........ ;D

Thanks Al, I've posted so many pics of the same bike here because that's all I've been riding this winter, that I was running out of locations to make it even slightly interesting. I rode past that old antique shop and it caught my eye, so I turned around and took that pic of a stark 1800's building looming over a slightly faded antique bike on a cold winters day. ;D

I have drained small amounts of fork oil a couple of times since I rebuilt them during winter (and put to much oil in) and the front end is feeling much better. Along with the original shocks back on the bike the overall suspension feels rather good, but further adjustments will continue.

Yesterday evening I went to Hälleforsnäs (small town in Sweden) and a small weekly gathering for old cars, bikes and other hobby vehicles, just 30 miles from home on a small road perfect for testing bike's handling. There weren't many bikes at all but I had the luck of finding one fellow SOHC rider!

The guy with the 750 ('73) had owned it for 30 years so they were good friends by now.  :)

Grrrrr, not here in Melbourne, it's ben extended another week! Oh well, it could be worse, I cold be in Sydney like my son, who was stuck down here last year and went back to Sydney just after Christmas, and has been locked down for weeks.

That's a nice looking 350F Trevor, I restored one in 1996 and loved it, but had to quit it when I got dragged off at the lights by a Mitsubishi Magna. I swapped it for a new lathe, with a couple of thousands bucks worth of tooling with a mate who owns a Total Tools store. He was the same, loved it, but needed something bigger, so he sold it to the owner of 3 Point Motors, the Mercedes dealership in Fairfield. He'd owned one when he was an apprentice mechanic in Germany and displayed the bike in his lounge room. ;D

It's another bike I've owned for over 30 years.  When I bought it, no-one seemed to like them.  I bought it because I really liked the way it looked.  In that 30+ years, it's gone from a lemon to desirable.  Yep, they are pretty slow, but if I want to ride fast, I'll hop on my Suzuki Bandit 1200 (like I did yesterday)!
