stock exhaust, 836 Wiseco, mild porting megacycle cam.. Runs great over 7K
Took it up to 115mph today, lots left
Wonder what GPS actual speed would be at 115mph indicated on our vintage gauges?
I wish I made the Suzuki dealer fix the gauge on my ‘19 Vstrom 650 during warranty as it is further off than I would like and I think the ‘78 CX500 is more accurate at that speed! It is like close to 5mph at 50mph!
I had to adjust the low beam quite a bit too as it was aimed in driver’s faces!
Guess they didn’t expect me to ride much at night, I do quite a bit of riding after dark, especially in summer…
I always liked the sulfur yellow F bikes, they look good in yellow. yellow and polished aluminum and chrome really go together nicely!
You also know how to take a photo, getting to bike level makes for better photograph composition than stand up….
even gray skies can with the right mix of interesting things add to the photograph.
a colorful key fob could make it pop out… the SOHC4 patches could be sewn to a leather fob to create a light weight fob that wouldn’t weigh down or cause wear to the ignition switch. The weight of a lot of keys over time and miles adds wear to automotive or truck or motorcycle ignition locks.
Good to see all the bikes out and about…
