That's a cool Norton. We resurrected a 64' Atlas last year for a good friend. It is too bad that he didn't get to enjoy it, he passed away from COVID a few months ago. He called it the London Death Machine. 8)

That is a beautiful bike mate, is that you on it? I almost swapped my Laverda 750 SF for a minty 850 Commando back in 2009, I've only ever ridden a couple, but they were nice bikes. ;D

Nope, that's my buddy Cooper the day he picked up his bike after we finished it. It had been stolen by the first shop it was in, he recovered it himself. After that he took it to get fixed and it was screwed up by a second shop before we got it.

I got this one started for a friend yesterday afternoon. I'll be riding it to the local bike night next Wednesday so he can put a FS sign on it. Very Very low miles on it, under 1,000 miles....
He bought it from the rep while he had his Norton shop and it's been parked since the late 70s. It purred. It's going to be a fun ride.

That is beautiful mate, and would be a great rider. (I'm not a polisher) While all British motorcycles of the era should be viewed with some suspicion, I believe that while British "Quality Control" (a term unknown to Britain and most of Europe, at the time) was not good, I think all of the "Backyard Mechanics" who laid spanners on them in the intervening period have probably contributed to their poor reputation. A nice shiny "NOS" one like that, that hasn't been fcuked with, would probably be a great bike to ride, as is. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

Finally spring with riding weather!
Had a 100 mile ride today.
Stopped for a photo to enjoy happy birds celebrating the cold icy wheather is gone.

Even a butterfly came close to have a look at a Honda! ;D

I really understand how you feel Eric.

Not long time ago we had snow here.
Last weekend, April 9 looked like this with cold temperatures. Not fun when bikes are ready for the road, me too! ;)

Today an 87km long lunch ride.  I really like work from home close to my garage. ;D

Thanks guys! All in one view, nice surroundings food and bike ;D
The bike is my K2, stock engine except for Cruzinimage K7 +0.50mm pistons for a little bit higher compression. K7 cam.
Color is Peugeot  brown metallic.
I heard from an earlier owner that had the complete history of this bike (frame with registration + tank + battery holder). It was brown when new. K2 brown is the dark Brier Brown.

Shortly after I got that information I was in Spain on holiday, May 2018 in Benidorm.
I saw a Peugeot 3008 SUV glittering in the sun and knew direct which brown the bike should get.

I ordered rattle cans from Germany. I think that color is calleld Copper metallic.
Sprayed on black 2k base. I sprayed many layers of brown/copper metallic  to get it even.
On top of that many layers of 2k clear, also rattle can.

My bike glitter more than the cars with thicker clear which magnifies the metallic. That paint need sunshine to come alive.

The blue bike a day earlier with butterfly is more powerful.

That is a kebab plate. shaved kebab meet and fries with spicy red sauce and mile white.

This bike is a stocker and is fun like that. I have fresh bored 836 and 849cc cylinders on the shelf but it is fun to ride a stock bike. Smooth ride as a scooter very relaxing. My wife's favourite.

My ongoing engine project (that has all other parts for a bike) has got its case opened for billet block. It has CycleX super rods to be installed too. Tank and side covers in Freedom Green metallic K4 style.

Out for a 100 mile ride on my SOHC Yamaha

A bit cheeky mate, but I'll remember to post pics of my Valkyrie next time I take it for a ride, it's got two cams, but only one in each head. That Yam is beautiful, make sure you post your ride in the "22 rides in 2022" thread as well! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Even let an Indian couple pose for a picture on my bike as they were bold enough to ask.

Looking good mate, and personally I think this is the best time of year for riding our bikes, we can wear all of our protective clothing on a ride without dehydrating, I rode my bikes (not SOHC4’s) on Saturday and Sunday and had a ball. ;D
